Wedding Photography Sudeley Castle
Over the years, I’ve spent a bit of time here in The Cotswolds. It’s an extraordinarily beautiful corner of the world and photographing weddings at Sudeley Castle is always the greatest of pleasures. Sudeley Castle weddings are always just a little bit special. With its 1200 acres of magnificent grounds, you will find deer grazing, rabbits hopping and untold sheep bleating to their hearts content. Then there’s Sudeley Castle itself, which revels in history and boasts connections with a multitude of famous names including Katherine Parr, Elizabeth I and Lady Jane Grey to name but a few. Oliver Cromwell’s army famously decimated the 15th century state apartments with their huge canons leaving behind the most spectacular ruins and the perfect backdrop for Krissy & Paul’s wedding. It’s also close to another beautiful venue, Slaughters Manor House.
When Krissy and Paul announced their engagement to me, I was pretty excited as I knew what plans Krissy had for the big day. Krissy dazzled us in her exquisite Monique Lhuillier dress with full length cathedral veil from Browns while Krissy’s bridemaids looked beautiful in their Amsale designed dresses. Paul looked super in his bespoke black tie dinner suit, as did Paul’s ushers. I love a black tie wedding! After the very poor start to the summer everybody was delighted to see glorious sunshine today pretty much all day. It was a thoroughly faultless day with an incredible party which went on well into the early hours and undoubtedly one of the best wedding bands I have seen for a very long time. If you like a bit of Motown, this band is for you. Incredible vocals!!! Thanks again to Krissy & Paul for a magical day and for making me feel so welcome. Huge congrats to you both once again.
