I was trying to count and I seem to have lost count of the number of weddings I have photographed at Northbrook Park in Farnham.
Thinking back, I’d say that my first wedding here must have been in 2012 and ever since then, I can’t remember just how many weddings I have shot.
Over the last 10+ years as a wedding photographer, needless to say, quite a few!
Northbrook Park is a gorgeous 18th century wedding venue and is situated right on the borders of Hampshire and Surrey.
For years I always thought this fab luxury venue was situated in Surrey but have just checked and it is definitely Hampshire.
So there it is!
Anyhow, if you haven’t been to Northbrook Park before, it’s a beautiful Grade II listed Georgian country Manor House.
Northbrook Park is set in stunning grounds which extend to 120 acres and comes complete with a lake, fields and a nearby woodland.
There’s luxury accommodation on site, al of which makes it a dream photographing weddings here.
Both bride and groom tend to get ready on site which is really handy for capturing those morning preparations.
The bridal party tend to have the bridal suite with the groom and his ushers taking the groom’s suite.
It is perfect!
Plus it’s only a short two minute walk to the ceremony which I always think is such a blessing.
Northbrook Park Wedding
I love capturing Northbrook Park weddings.
I don’t know why, but there’s always such a nice relaxed feel to the day.
The grounds lend themselves to serenity for a Northbrook Park wedding, they really do.
Couple shots in front of the main house are glorious.
Although I didn’t get any shots by the lake for Yin Yee and Yusuf’s wedding shown here below, the lake is a great location for bride and groom portraits.
I love the peacocks wandering about the place, showing off their feathers and making their ridiculous squeaking noises!!
They really strut about the venue like they own the place.
I love their arrogance!!
Anyhow, if you are tying the knot at this sublime countryside Hampshire wedding venue, please let me know as I would love to be there for you both.
