Botley’s Mansion Photos
Michelle & Gary’s gorgeous Surrey wedding had me swooning all day. So many great moments and as ever! Which meant that attempting to squeeze 14 hours of coverage into 100 photos for this blog post was always going to be a challenge!
I had photographed at Botley’s Mansion twice previously. It’s a grand wedding venue, a country house with a Grade II listing. It has a history to make other wedding venues jealous! I love the fact that King Henry VIII used to own this place. The thought of this monarch walking the corridors of this mansion thrills me! The venue has the most stunning palladian style features which just look stunning from every angle. Botley’s seems to be filled to the gunnels with period features including the largest most glittering chandeliers, stunning antique furniture and an abundance of space. Botley’s Mansion has grandeur and yet it is quite unstuffy. It is elegant whilst at the same time it is modern, without compromising the period gorgeousness which it seems to have in abundance! Personally a big draw for many couples marrying here are the grounds. Fifty six incredible acres of gardens help to elevate this wedding venue above all others in the Chertsey and Surrey area. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and the food is sensational. If you come, I’d be very surprised if you didn’t fall in love.
