Wedding photography Boconnoc House. When I first met with Lucy & James on the New Kings Road a year or so earlier, they mentioned that they were planning on tying the knot in one of my favourite English counties, Cornwall. Though little did I know just how wonderful their wedding would be! Boconnoc is a magical Georgian masterpiece extensively renovated to exacting standards with grounds to make the eyes water. It didn’t surprise me when I learned that it has been the setting for many films and TV series as this building is breathtakingly beautiful. Lucy & James married at Boconnoc Church, an incredible 14th century place of worship which lies within the grounds of the Boconnoc estate. Drinks were held on the lawn with the reception in the stunning Drawing Room. Later on, James whisked Lucy away in her father’s pristine Morgan convertible which made for some fabulous photographs in the grounds. Whilst we were photographing the couple shots, we were very fortunate to stumble across a huge herd of very tame deer, a wonderful present for us all! The weather was sublime and it’s fair to say that it was a perfect day from sunrise to sunset. Many thanks extended to all the Boconnoc staff who made sure I was beautifully fed and watered all day and thank you again to Lucy & James for an incredible wedding in Cornwall which I will not forget.
