My folks came here to Bergerac some twenty years ago whilst touring France and pretty much ever since had been *raving* to me about the beauty of this gorgeous corner of the world. So when Yasmin and Matthew invited me to Bergerac to be their Chateau Les Merles wedding photographer I grabbed the opportunity with both hands! My parents were absolutely on the money. Bergerac is so utterly picturesque with more vineyards than you can shake a stick at. Yamsin & Matt celebrated their wedding at the Mr & Mrs Smith featured Chateau Les Merles, a beautiful imposing hotel set in its very own vineyard and complete with tennis courts, a verdant golf course, a pool and views which stretch across the Dordogne valley. This place is divine and the food is simply delicious. Yasmin & Matt had a beauitfully intimate ceremony in the grounds of the chateau which left many reaching for their hankies. It was a heavenly day, if a little hot under the collar topped off with some incredible culinary delights, three tremendous speeches and some of the best dance floor action I have witnessed in a while. Many thanks to Yasmin, Matt and their respective friends and family for an awesome wedding weekend.
