Katie & Roddy’s fabulous Royal Society Arts Wedding Photography. RSA House has to be one of my favourite London wedding venues, and Katie & Roddy’s marriage was everything that it promised to be. A stunning military wedding celebration awash with pristine military personnel. Many guests had flown in from all four corners of the globe to witness these nuptials! In fact the sword arch had British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, US Army Cavalry, as well as boys with light sabres! It does not get much better than that. Katie & Roddy had met whilst on duty in the heat of the Middle East, returning to London with their children to set up home together.
As promised, there was plenty of emotion on the day with many a tear shed. The readings read so beautifully by Katie & Roddy’s children during the service was particularly emotive. Though there more tears to come when Roddy’s son appeared on cue as Roddy’s best man and ring bearer. Then we had Katie’s sisters brilliant ‘grog’ speech which I’d not seen before. All in all, a fantastic day and though it was bitterly cold, Royal Society Arts was alive with warmth inside! In the evening in The Vaults, we were treated to come excellent musical accompaniment thanks to Dickie and his amazing band. The photos below are just a small fraction of images. Thanks a million to you Katie & Roddy for an awesome day – I loved being there for you both.
